I've not been at work for about 3 weeks now. Which is always a good way to start a journal. As I am on holiday, not because of anything rebelious. So naturally I have alot of free time. And You know what feasts on free time? The internet. So inbetween being productive and wasting time I stumbled across people making movie casts for their created characters, just for shits and giggles, and I liked the idea. So I decided to also do this, and then I didn't. But now I am. So here we are and there I go. This is just for a laugh because we all know if there was a Archy-crew movie it'd be absolutely fucking atrocious and I'd drink myself to death. So with that thought in mind, let's get to it...


Archy/ Stephen Dorff [link] [link]
Dorff is a good actor. And he knows how to play the down-but not out-character. And although he may be abit old let's just presume he isn't. Plus his face has all the prominent features of Archy.
Blinky/ Edward Norton [link] [link]
With Blinky it was all about the smile and jaw shape. This fit Edward Norton like a glove. You look at those teeth and just tell me those aren't Blinky worthy teeth, there's also a certain charm to Blinky's smile which Edward just has. And to top it all off Edward Norton could probably act the shit out of all of us put together.
Gregory/ Norman Reedus [link] [link]
Okay so maybe the voice isn't spot on but just shave Reedus' eyebrows and watch the magic happen. As an added bonus he looks like he's been smoking since the age of 2, which is always good. Plus that kind of tragic anti-hero air follows Norman Reedus around like a bad smell, just like it does Gregory. Spot on.
Melon Boy/ Ben Foster [link] [link]
Melon Boy is defined by a child-like quality, mainly reflected in the eyes, but there's also insanity there. Both of which Ben Foster has in spades. Plus he's a hell of a up and coming actor. Who takes on roles that interest him, rather than those that pay a load. My hat goes off to you Ben Foster.
Edwin/ Joseph Gilgun [link] [link] (on the right)
Put glasses on Jo Gilgun, because he IS Edwin. Underrated, Joseph Gilgun would explode into the role and make it his own.
Minx/ Mia Kirshner [link] [link]
Now I've never seen this girl act. But a friend recommended her highly as a perfect match for Minx. And hell, look at her, with an eye-patch on she'd look just the part.
Old Man Gear/ Ed Harris [link] [link] [link]
There's something about Old Man Gear that just spells "DO NOT FUCK WITH ME" and it's all in the eyes. I don't even need to tell you about Ed Harris. Just look at the guy.
General Stanna/ Viggo Mortensen [link] [link]
General Stanna is broken and self righteous, but there's an unbelievable grit to him. Once again this is translated through the eyes. Mortensen has it.
